Conventional dental surgeons use drills and burs to either cut, split or bore through bone. No matter how accurate the surgeon is there is always tissue and bone loss. Piezo dental surgery uses ultrasound waves to cut bone without damaging soft tissue thus limiting unnecessary tissue and bone loss.

Similar to a laser, the ultrasound waves provide greater accuracy than conventional surgical techniques and greatly reduces healing times.

Highly Accurate
The technique enables the cutting of hard tissues only. The surrounding tissues including arteries, sinus membranes and nerves are almost untouched resulting in very little damage to these tissues.
